Opening new building CBS Heerlen

For CBS and bureau Krijtlijn AV Point arranged all audiovisual services at the opening event of the new building of the CBS in Heerlen.

Her Majesty Queen Beatrix opens the new building of the Central Bureau of Statistics (CBS) in Heerlen. The opening event took place in the presence of Mr. drs. F. Heemskerk, Secretary of State of Economic Affairs. The employees in their building in The Hague could also see the ceremony live on screens.

The new CBS building in Heerlen replaces the old building next to it. The motive for the new building was to update the old building from the seventies to meet the requirements of this day and age. The new building is very energy efficient and morover it is made suitable to heat and cool with mine water.
